Swim Baits are the new Big rage amongst bass fisherpersons and it makes plenty of sense.
Bass have few things to eat, other fish or crawfish make up most of their diet.
Sure our soft plastic baits and other lures seem to be likable by bass but the above it what they eat when we are gone home for the day.
Tonight We picked up a Strike King King Shad Swim Bait
As you can see above out of the package there is already a big of Damage to a Brand new lure above the fin.
This side was against the packaging and the paper was in the way so I was unable to see this before I purchased the Strike King King Shad Swim bait. This will not have any effect on the bait as far as fish catching ability at all but for $20.00 + 6% Tax these flaws should not be there on a brand new lure.
I am Sure the bass on my local waters will like to hammer the Strike King King Shad Swim Bait.
I will have this out fishing for bass and Will post how we did with it.

After taking the King Shad out for 2 hours in the morning before work we did land 1 bass, but I did not even get to unlip this bass.
Upon lifting the bass out of the water, the bass shook as they most times do and
this is what was left of the King Shad Swim Bait.
Back to the store I went and got my $19.99 back, Nice try Strike King but this Lure does not cut it and for $19.99????? you can not even use a better 2 piece system like other manufactures?
